Debbie started her journey as a curator and retailer doing pop up shops and markets in Goa and the UK, collecting her favourite fabrics and pieces as she travelled around the world.
Alongside the products she was selling in London, Debbie became interested in sourcing limited edition ethically produced hand printed fabrics. These fabrics are now used to create unique furniture, homeware and accessory collections.
The London-made collections are now presented together with the work of a selected few designers and artisans Debbie has worked with over the years. The common theme is a shared design aesthetic and sustainability ethos.
Whether the product is handcrafted in London or by artisans in India, Tālaʻs philosophy is about producing and curating timeless designs that transcend geographical borders.
